From June 20th to 22nd, 2025, the Shenzhen International Lymphedema Conference (Training Course) was successfully held. The conference was hosted by the Shenzhen Medical Association and organized by Peking University Shenzhen Hospital and Shenzhen Xinhua Hospital. As an international academic event, the activity brings together over 30 top international scholars from more than 10 countries around the world to explore the cutting-edge of lymphatic surgery.
Xie Qingping, the president of Hangzhou Qiushi Hospital and Huagong Hospital, was invited to attend and deliver several academic keynote speeches, focusing on the latest research achievements and clinical applications, to promote academic exchanges and development in the international lymphatic surgery field.

President Xie Qingping, as the global pioneer of deep cervical lymphovenous anastomosis (LVA) and the first to complete its application in the treatment of brain functional diseases such as Alzheimer's disease, The surgery was awarded as one of the "Top Seven Advances in Microsurgery in China in 2022", "Top Ten Scientific and Technological Advances in Plastic Surgery in 2023", and "Top Eight Advances in the Field of Microsurgery in 2024". The clinical practice and scientific research breakthroughs of the team have always attracted international attention.

During the keynote speech session, experts and professors from the Cleveland Clinic in the United States, Asan Hospital in Seoul, Keiyi University School of Medicine in Japan, and Xuzhou Medical University in Australia respectively delivered wonderful presentations on topics such as "The Latest Treatment Progress of Lymphedema", "The Past and Future of LVA Surgery", and "The Construction and Application of AI Disease Full-Process Medical Large Models", creating an academic feast. International peers had in-depth exchanges with President Xie Qingping, establishing deeper and broader academic connections.
In the keynote speech titled "Rebuilding the Brain: Deep Cervical Lymphatic Vein Anastomosis - Chinese Solution", President Xie Qingping, taking into account both "Chinese experience" and "international standards", comprehensively introduced the latest technologies and concepts of LVA surgery, covering technical principles, innovative methods, clinical achievements, and international recognition, and elaborated on the cutting-edge developments and growth trends in this field. He stated that with the gradual improvement of microsurgical techniques and the increasing familiarity with anatomical structures, surgical stability has been achieved. A large number of successful clinical cases of "brain remodeling" have also driven the continuous increase in the awareness rate of LVA in society. In the future, it will surely bring hope for symptom improvement to more patients.
In his speech titled "New Perspectives and Discussions on Surgery", President Xie Qingping further shared his unique insights on surgical technology innovation and multi-disciplinary collaboration, emphasizing that the exploration, research, and application of surgery are of great significance for enhancing the global diagnosis and treatment level of brain degenerative diseases. He predicted that with the continuous breakthroughs in the technical barriers of super microsurgery, LVA has already been successfully applied in multiple system atrophy, Parkinson's disease and other neurodegenerative diseases. In the future, it will continue to drive surgery from technological innovation to treatment paradigm revolution.
